Discover the greatest natural treasures of North America’s national parks as you follow the footsteps of the explorers. Each day brings a new destination, new landscape and new adventure. Explore the mysterious 800-year old cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde. Gaze into the depths of the south rim of the Grand Canyon and view the Colorado River running one mile below. Stand in the shadow of the Grand Tetons as you try to spot elk, coyotes, wolves and the elusive mountain lion. Venture out into Yellowstone National Park, designated the world’s first national park in 1872, to see cascading waterfalls, bubbling mud spots and the famous geyser, Old Faithful. You might even see bison, mountain goats and moose, who all call the park home.
Activity level: **Moderately Active. Expect to walk for about two hours daily across mostly flat terrain, including paved trails and dirt paths, with some hills. Some activities will take place at high altitudes. May involve traveling in small boats of other vehicles.
