1. The UCF Alumni family is 5,800 stronger after thousands of Knights walked across the Addition Financial Arena stage for commencement over the weekend. That group includes 800-plus master's degree and nearly 100 doctorate recipients, raising the number of degrees conferred at UCF since classes began in 1968 to about 345,000. One of those degrees went to Quentin Fouliard, UCF's first Ph.D. graduate in aerospace engineering. Read Fouliard's story here.

2. Commencement attendees may have been witness to a special scene over the weekend — UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton walking across the stage just a year removed from suffering a devastating leg injury. Milton, who earned a degree in sport and exercise science, spoke with UCF Today about his journey of recovery and outlook on the future here

3. Join your fellow alumni as we #TakeOverTampa and cheer on the Knights in pursuit of their third-straight 10-win season at the Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl (Buy tickets here). UCF will face former Conference USA rival Marshall in Raymond James Stadium at 2:30 p.m., but the fun will begin beforehand at the UCF ChargeOn Tailgate presented by UCF Alumni. Bring your friends and family to George M. Steinbrenner Field from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for a catered buffet, drink tickets, spirit swag and more. Hit the link here to register today

4. Recent grad Titus Thomas, who lived in eight foster homes growing up, found a voice through his artwork at UCF. Thomas looks to share his experience and a message of hope with children in similar situations — read his story here

5. Knight Nation stepped up on Giving Tuesday with 625 Knights raising $142,000 for the UCF community, but there's still time to support UCF and have it be counted as a 2019 charitable gift. Visit our online giving portal to make a difference today
