UCF’s annual day of volunteer service returns for Homecoming week! This year UCF Alumni is proud to partner with Volunteer UCF to offer service opportunities across the nation. 

 

Orlando Knights

Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens

Join the greater Orlando Knights Community as we support the Central Florida Zoo for their annual Boo Bash! Volunteers 13+ will help operate treat carts and activity booths throughout the zoo.

Clean the World

Join the greater Orlando Knights Community as we partner with Clean the World in their mission to reach a future where every single person has access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene. Volunteers will help box, unpack and sort soap and bottled amenities at Clean the World’s Warehouse. Closed toed shoes are required. Volunteers must be 8 years or older to participate.

Join the greater Orlando Knights Community as we partner with Second Harvest Food Bank to distribute food to our community. We’ll be organizing and distributing food at Church of Nazarene, a community partner sponsored by Second Harvest Food Bank. Closed-toe and closed-heeled shoes are required.

Join the Young Alumni Community as we partner with Harbor House of Central Florida. Volunteers will break into groups and help with various activities including donation sorting and reorganizing, changing out/creating children's bulletin board displays, gardening/weeding/planting, assembling youth backpacks, creating welcome packets for survivors, and organizing and labeling the new clothing closet. Comfortable, athletic clothing recommended. Volunteers must be 18 years or older to participate.

Atlanta Knights

Join your Atlanta AlumKnights in a day of service for Knights Give Back, a UCF Homecoming tradition. You will meet and connect with other alumni while we help clean up one of Atlanta's best known secrets: the BeltLine. This is a family friendly event so bring the whole gang. Join your Palm Beach Alumni Community for a day of giving back with Feeding South Florida. Meet other alumni while helping our community. We will assist with the inspecting, sorting, and repacking of donated food in their indoor warehouse. This is a family friendly event so please bring your friends and family. Everyone is welcome.

The Sarasota UCF Alumni Club has partnered with the Keep Sarasota County Beautiful, a program that initiates cleanup projects to help keep our community free of debris. We have adopted a portion of Beach Road, so we need your help to clean up this area of the beach and make an impact in the community.

Seattle Knights

Join your SEFL Knights in keeping our beaches clean for our community to continue to enjoy! We will work together to clean up the beach and reward our efforts after with lunch at Park & Ocean. All supplies will be provided. A light lunch will also be provided, and the venue has a food & drink menu with additional items for purchase. This is a family friendly event- please bring your kids, friends and family (no pets)! 

Space Coast Knights

CITA Rescue Mission

Join the Space Coast Community in volunteering at CITA Rescue Mission. CITA was founded by Johnny and Helen Ellison. Johnny's heart for the homeless was so large that his life was given to serving those who are mostly neglected or at the worst time in their lives. At the CITA Rescue Mission we may be helping with painting, landscaping, cleaning, and pressure washing. 


Families are welcome to attend as long as children under 18 years old are accompanied by an adult.

Tampa Bay Knights

Join your Tampa Bay Community as we give back to the community by helping the Habitat for Humanity organization in Hillsborough County. We will be assisting with building houses for those less fortunate. No experience with house building is required.
