• College of Nursing Mentee Form

The UCF College of Nursing’s Knight Nursing Alumni Mentorship Program pairs nursing alumni with senior BSN students and Accelerated Second Degree BSN students looking for guidance during the transition from student to graduate nurse. Your participation will allow you to link classroom knowledge directly to real world situations and experiences, and will allow you to share your goals and aspirations with a fellow Knight who has been in your shoes. The Knight Nursing Alumni Mentorship Program runs from September through April. Matches will be made in September based on career interests and availability. Students will then be required to connect with their matched mentor and both will engage in monthly conversations.

Knight Nurse Mentee Expectations:

  • Must be a senior in the BSN program or a student in the Second Degree BSN program.
  • If matched, the mentorship program requires monthly conversations throughout the academic year (September through April). Availability to meet at this rate either in person, by phone or by email is required. A program manual outlining conversation topics and ideas will be distributed should you participate.
  • A professional approach and an open mind!
