Pride Points

If the text above doesn’t suit your needs, consider taking one of these pride points and bragging about UCF to make your case to #GiveToUCF!

  • Fun fact: UCF is the nation’s #1 supplier of graduates to the aerospace and defense industries (for the fourth year in a row).
  • Did you know? More than 24% of UCF's undergraduates are first-generation college students.
  • This past year marked a Top-3 Finish for UCF’s 1st All-Female Cybersecurity Team, @HackUCF, at the Wicked6 Cyber Games in Las Vegas.
  • UCF received the 2019 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, which recognizes U.S. colleges and universities that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • For the third consecutive year, U.S. News and World Report has recognized as Florida’s “most innovative school.”
  • UCF is just over 50 years old, and about one-third of our alumni population is under the age of 32. Talk about a young university!

Where gifts go:

Donors may designate gifts to many different areas of support at UCF. Below are a few popular funds for donors.

  • ACADEMIC COLLEGES OR PROGRAMS: Each one of UCF’s 13 colleges has a general support account that benefits various departments, programs and initiatives.
  • UCF AREA OF GREATEST NEED: The area of greatest need is a general support fund and is an option for donors who prefer the university to direct funds where it's needed most.
  • FIRST GENERATION SCHOLARSHIP FUND: One in four UCF students are the first in their families to attend college, these students are changing the trajectory of their future and that of their families. Gifts are matched $2-to-$1, meaning a $50 gift becomes $150.
  • UCF PARENT & FAMILY FUND: Gifts to the Parent & Family Fund provide funding for professional development, career services and student activities that are not funded by tuition, fees or state dollars. Gifts support programs such as Study Union, Student Accessibility Services and FreshU.
  • JOHN AND MARTHA HITT ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Scholarships enable student-athletes to fulfill their aspirations on the field and in the classroom.
  • UCF FOOTBALL EXCELLENCE FUND: The UCF Football Excellence Fund was established to enhance the program’s operating resources.
