Katie and Daniel Hansen

I lived in Tivoli during my sophomore and junior years of college. My roommates and I immediately became friends with the three cute boys who lived next store. One day they had a party and invited their old Tivoli neighbors. The first time I saw Daniel, I turned to my roommate and said “that is the hottest guy I’ve ever seen”. Well I was way too intimated to talk to him and ended up dating one of the neighbors. However, Daniel and I became friends. Through the years, Daniel and I became closer and closer. We went to UCF football games, beer tasting events, Lake Eola events, etc. We stayed friends through my failed marriage and his failed relationships. Eventually we couldn’t deny our attraction and we started dating. From the moment we kissed, we knew that was it. We married in 2014, had our first son in 2015 and our second son in 2019. Both boys enjoy cheering on the Knights with us and our 5 year old says he can’t wait to go to college since that’s where mommy and daddy met. He also says college is where you play lots of video games and he can’t wait for that too.
