This scholarship is in memory of Dr. William K. Grasty who left a lasting legacy at UCF. Dr. Grasty served the university from 1968 till his passing in 1996. Through his 28 years of service, Dr. Grasty served as a communications professor, department chair, vice president of community relations, and executive director of the UCF Foundation. In addition to being a charter faculty member, Dr. Grasty is known for inspiring students and for his cheerful and gentle demeanor in the classroom.
