Parent and Family Philanthropy

Parent & Family Philanthropy provides meaningful support and leadership within the UCF community. By engaging with this initiative, families help shape a brighter future for every student.

Parent and Family Philanthropy

UCF students and alumni would be nothing without the parents who get them here. As parents of Knights, you are invited and encouraged to give through Parent and Family Philanthropy.

The primary goals are to:

  • Raise awareness of vital university needs, including Wellness and Health Promotion Services, the Knights Helping Knights Pantry, and Career Services.

  • Increase philanthropic support to directly fuel student success and academic excellence.

  • Deepen involvement with the university to enrich and enhance the UCF experience for the entire Knight family.

Last year, over 4,000 parents gave $3.5 million to support student scholarships and programs like Knights Helping Knights Pantry, which provides food, clothing and toiletries to students in need; and Career Services, which helps Knights prepare for their professional careers after graduation.

Some members of Knight Nation who take classes with your student, study late with them in the library or simply walk past them in the Student Union may need an extra boost to get through their college years. The Parent and Family Fund allows you the opportunity to provide that boost to students you may never meet, but whose lives will be changed by your generosity.
