UCF Alumni Board Welcomes New Members

Linh Dang ’93

Linh Dang ’93, the chair of the UCF Alumni Board, joins UCF Alumni in welcoming its newest members, Roslyn Antoniazzi ’08, Gerrard Grant ’02 ’04, and Carla McRae ’03 ’05MSA. Their first meeting as UCF Alumni Board members will be Friday, September 29, 2023.“It is my great honor and pleasure to welcome these Knights to our alumni board,” Dang says. “These individuals are already stellar members of our community, and we know they will bring that same drive and passion to continue making UCF the university for the future.” The UCF Alumni Board supports the efforts of UCF Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving and represents a base of more than 360,000 alumni. The Alumni Board and its committees convene regularly to formulate and execute plans, policies, and programs to benefit UCF Alumni.

Roslyn Antoniazzi ’08

Roslyn Antoniazzi ’08 earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from UCF and went on to receive her MBA in 2014 from Rollins College. She is married to Mauro Antoniazzi ’06 ’12, the director of corporate accounting for InnovaCare Health. In her current role at BNY Mellon, she leadsthe client experience program, a comprehensive and multi-channel digital strategy. She is also serving on the CBA Alumni Board and the Dean’s Advisory Board, and has previously served with Miles4Metavivor, a fundraising campaign benefiting METAvivor, a nonprofit organization dedicated to metastatic breast cancer research. Last year, Roslyn received the Honorable Knight award by the UCF College of Business.

Gerrard L. Grant ’02 ’04MST

Gerrard L. Grant ’02 ’04 is a board-certified tax attorney and CPA. He works with businesses, entrepreneurs, and families on legal matters ranging from corporate transactions, tax controversies, to estate planning. Gerrard earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting, and his master’sdegree in taxation from the University of Central Florida. He went on to receive his juris doctor and master’s of laws in taxation degrees from the University of Florida. In 2014, the National Bar Association named Gerrard to their list of the 40 Under 40 Nation’s Best Advocates Award. He has also been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, Legal Elite, as an Awesome Attorney in Tax Law for three consecutive years by Orlando Family Magazine, and by Best Lawyers in America in the area of trusts and estates. He serves as chair of the tax certification committee and executive council of the Florida Bar. In 2023, Gerrard founded Aventus Law Group PLLC, with offices in Orlando and Atlanta. Gerrard advises many startups and non-profit organizations. His fondest UCF memories include celebrating his two graduations with his classmates and family.

Carla McRae ’03 ’05MSA

Carla McRae ’03 ’05MSA, the head of business advisory services at Berman Hopkins, a full-service CPA firm, earned her master’s degree in accounting from the College of Business. She has over 18 years’ experience encompassing public accounting and chief executive leadership. Her parents, Jeffery and Debra McAlear; a brother, Casey McAlear; and husband Justin McRae are all UCF alumni. Carla was selected as one of LEAD Brevard’s 4 Under 40 Leadership Award Winners in 2018 and served as chairman of the board for the Titusville Chamber of Commerce in 2016 and 2017. She also was a board member for the Jess Parrish Medical Foundation from 2013 to 2018. Her favorite UCF memory is attending the 2018 Peach Bowl and celebrating our ‘national championship.’
