Each year, the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science honors our alumni, a student, and a faculty member who have achieved exceptional personal and professional success in their respective areas and bring immense pride to the college.

Our 2025 nominees will be reviewed and selected by October of 2024, in preparation for our CECS Honors Reception in March of 2025.
Each year, we celebrate the best and the brightest graduates from all six of our college departments as well as an award honoring an outstanding current student. We also recognize one individual for their exceptional achievements with a college-wide Distinguished Alumni Award, the highest college honor that can be bestowed upon our alumni. This year, for the first time, we are adding a new award to recognize excellence in a faculty member who has made a significant impact on our students’ lives.
Our goal in UCF’s College of Engineering and Computer Science is to continue reaching for the stars with all our academic, industry and community partners to achieve big dreams and change the world. To our past, and future honorees – Thank you for inspiring us to Reach for the Stars.

Has achieved a level of distinction within the industry that reflects well on UCF and the College of Engineering and Computer Science
Demonstrates exceptional achievement(s) in the area(s) of community involvement, college engagement, and/or university engagement
Demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a lifelong relationship with UCF (i.e. mentoring, volunteering, philanthropy, etc)
