Cayla and Jake Gutierrez

Jake and I met as student employees at the Student Union — he was on the Event Services team and I was the administration manager for the student staff. Jake broke his foot on the job, we filled out worker’s comp paperwork together and the rest is history. If you ask him, it was his performance during the SU Harlem Shake that sealed the deal. We’ve been together seven years and recently tied the knot!
