Christina (Jones) Benjamin ’03 and Philip Benjamin ’04

Philip and Christina met in 2001 while attending UCF. They fell in love, poolside while living at Jefferson Commons apartments. Bonding over their shared passion for music, art, food and hosting gatherings, they quickly became inseparable.

One year into dating, they got engaged during a fellow UCF couple’s wedding weekend. Both supporters of the arts, Christina majored in English and Philip in graphic design. Christina has published multiple novels and Philip’s art has graced their covers. Both enjoyed successful careers in their respective fields that have allowed them to achieve their dream of working remotely.

Today they work together designing restaurants in Central Florida. In their free time they travel as much as possible and support animal rescue and foster groups. The Benjamins make it a point to go back to campus at least once a year to catch a UCF game with their beloved college crew to reminisce about the amazing friendships, connections and memories they forged at UCF.
