Darbi Froehlich ’20 and Justin Froehlich ’20

We met in 2018 at a Halloween party — Darbi was dressed as a mummy and Justin as a Purge participant. We quickly became friends and spent the fall football season getting to know each other better. This happened mainly at tailgates as beer pong partners and at Habs, where we debated with friends.

With our second undefeated football season, how could two Knights fans not fall in love? We officially started dating in January 2019, and in January 2024, we tied the knot. One of our favorite memories from our wedding was entering our reception to “Booyah,” just like the football team. Our love for the Knights has only grown, and we’ve been season ticket holders ever since.
