David Morton and Freyza Acevedo

David and Freyza are UCF alumni and educators based in Central Florida and are getting married next month. David is an instructor in the UCF History Department and Freyza teaches third grade in the Seminole County School System. While working on his Master’s Degree in Public History, David worked as an intern and guide at the UCF Public History Center in Sanford, while Freyza regularly brought her students to the museum on field trips. After the Public History Center closed, it later became Venue 1902 at Preservation Hall. When it came time to decide on where to exchange their vows, David and Freyza could not think of a better place or way to celebrate their love and connection to the UCF community.
