Elizabeth and Robert Boyd

Rob and I met at his fraternity’s Super Bowl party in January 2003. We became fast friends and almost didn’t pursue dating as we cherished our friendship. Needless to say, by the summer of 2003, we were committed. Rob received his undergraduate degree in accounting and finance and his graduate degree in accounting. My undergraduate degree was in psychology with my graduate degree in social work. Our studies and career choices couldn’t be more different, but we supported each other through school, internships and first jobs. I didn’t hesitate when Rob asked me to be his wife. We married in 2009 and purchased our first home in 2010. Rob was diagnosed with Crohn’s in October 2018 and that was shocking and we’re still seeking relief. We remain devoted UCF fans especially during football season. I suspect our love story is just getting started!
