Jessica Caruso and Matthew Ersek

Matthew Ersek’s and my love story is one of my favorites because it started without us even really looking for a life partner. By the chance of luck we were paired together for a group exam in one of our classes. We were already well aware of the other because we sat next to each other everyday. When I ask Matthew why he sat next to me his response was always “he chose to sit next to the prettiest girl in class”. For over the next year, we slowly became more acquainted but the sealing of our entire love story was meeting on the eve of one of UCF’s football games. We both discovered our similar love for football, especially the UCF Knights. From then on, we vowed to watch every UCF Knight game that we could together. We became the best of friends that happened to be from the same major and have the same love for sports. Now, we have both graduated from UCF, have full-time jobs and live together in a different city. We owe it is all to UCF’s matchmaking skills by one of our professors. The real next step is for us to rescue a puppy! Thank you UCF. Charge On!!
