Kaylin and Alexander Arellano

My husband and I bleed black and gold. From our proposal in Cuba (pictures with the flag), to our wedding with Knightro, a UCF groom’s cake, cornhole, & even our vows, we live with UCF around us. Our office, Christmas tree, & 80% of our clothes are from the bookstore. We love the atmosphere of UCF football games, which my husband missed 2 in his entire 8 years of being season ticket holder – one for our wedding and one for his best man’s wedding). From the players, to the coaches, to the event staff, we feel at home. While we didn’t meet at UCF, when we reconnected after high school I was just about to start my 2nd year at UCF to finish my bachelors and he had just graduated with his degree. He showed me around campus before class started and told stories about his student-athlete experience. While being a student at UCF, my friends and I started the only marketing organization on campus (which is still running). We (my husband and I) take pride knowing we both left a legacy at UCF.
