I had moved to San Jose, CA in February of 2018. After a few months of living in my new home, I matched with a guy on a dating app. After a few weeks of chatting, we decided to finally meet in person. Our first date ended up being a UCF watch party with the UCF alumni of Silicon Valley. We both were new to the area and consistently went to watch parties after that date and formed some great friendships with other alumni. Fast forward almost four years later, my now fiancé and I have attended games all over the U.S. as well as watch parties, and we are still representing the black and gold in our new home, Phoenix, AZ.
