Teresa and Jeremy Wiggins
Jeremy and I met on the first day of class our freshman year. Jeremy sat down next to me and maybe five minutes into the class realized he hadn’t read the part of the syllabus that said he needed to print out some sheets to bring with him. So he asked me to borrow one and that was that. We connected on a shared love of sports, especially volleyball. We moved into apartments across the hall from each other, and along with some amazing roommates, loved every minute of college. We attended every single UCF Athletics event possible and road tripped to a few bowl games. Five years later, Jeremy proposed on a Monday night after a dinner date at Wackadoo’s in the Student Union. He walked me past the building in which we met. He had planned to actually go inside the building but of course hadn’t fully prepared and didn’t realize there was a class in progress. He proposed on the bridge in front of the Psychology building. We both still bleed black and gold, partly because it’s the place that brought us together. When we planned our wedding, our colors were black and gold. When we adopted a dog, we named her Ritter which is Knight in German. In September 2019, we had our first baby, and Jamie has already been to two football games. It’s been a fun 10 years and we have UCF to thank!
