Anna Moshammer and John Pasquale

I am from Vienna, Austria, and went to UCF in fall 2018 for my exchange semester. During my very first class, I met John since we were in the same team. We quickly started to hang out outside of class as well and I also introduced him to all my exchange friends. We basically spent every day together during my time in the US, so it was very hard when I had to go back home to Austria at the end of December 2018. However, we decided to do our best to keep the relationship going. So from December 2018 until July 2020, we were both in our respective countries finishing up our degrees. Every 2-3 months, either one of us would visit the other. It was hard, but we managed it. In July 2020, John moved to Vienna for me. So those nearly 2 years of long-distance really paid off and we’re finally living our lives together in Austria.
