Cynthia Chamberlin ’95 ’98MBA
College of Business Administration

Cynthia Chamberlin ’95 ’98MBA has renewed her term as committee advisor after serving in the role last year. She worked in the pharmaceutical and medical device sales industry for over 27 years. She won numerous national sales awards and served on the marketing advisory board at Connetics Pharmaceuticals. She currently invests in and manages real estate properties. Chamberlin earned her bachelor’s in business administration in 1995 and her MBA in 1998 both from the University of Central Florida.

“My favorite UCF memory is the day of my bachelor’s graduation. My husband walked me to the reflecting pool and surprised me by saying that if I wanted to continue my education and get my master’s degree he would help me make my dream a reality, Chamberlin says. “Yes, I did!”

Chamberlin is married to UCF alumnus John Chamberlin ’94MBA, a safety specialist with Siemens Gamesa Wind Energy.

Charles DiNunzio ’12
College of Business Administration

Charles DiNunzio ’12 serves as a senior associate litigation attorney at Jackson Lewis P.C. in Orlando, Florida, where his practice focuses on management-side employment litigation in federal and state courts. He belongs to the firm’s Class Actions and Complex Litigation group, as well as its Trials and Appeals group. Prior to returning to Orlando, DiNunzio lived in Washington, D.C., where he was senior judicial law clerk to the Honorable Mary J. Schoelen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

DiNunzio earned undergraduate degrees in finance and real estate from the University of Central Florida (2012), his master’s degree from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs (2015) with a certificate in national security studies, and his doctorate degree from Syracuse University College of Law (2015), where he was an executive editor of the Syracuse Law Review and President of the Student Bar Association.

“I was lucky enough to serve in the Office of Student Involvement as the executive director for UCF Homecoming in 2011, overseeing an incredible team of individuals who helped plan and execute a full calendar of Homecoming programming,” DiNunzio says. “To this day, I count the whole experience as my favorite UCF memory.”

DiNunzio recently married his wife Jordan, manager of advance practice providers for critical care medicine at Orlando Health. They currently reside in Lake Nona.

Brandon Fair ’13
College of Sciences

Brandon Fair ’13, CFP, is a financial advisor with Edward Jones, where he helps families and businesses navigate key investment decisions with confidence. With more than a decade of experience in the financial services sector, he also serves as a key leader for Edward Jones in the Central Florida region, where he helps lead more than 70 advisors. He previously worked with J.P. Morgan Institutional Investments.

Fair earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Central Florida in 2013 and was named to UCF Alumni’s “30 Under 30” list in 2020. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

“My favorite UCF memory,” Fair says, “Was meeting my best friend and future wife, Sarah ’13, and then attending the 2017 Peach Bowl watch party in Chicago with our friends as UCF won their first National Championship.”

Fair and his wife are anticipating the birth of their second child to join their son, Theodore, this summer.

Active in the community, Fair currently Chair’s the Greater Orlando Alumni regional chapter, serves on the Board of Directors for HOPE Helps in Oviedo, and is part of the Board of Trustees for the City of Winter Springs.

Michele Guillard ’20
College of Undergraduate Studies

Michele Guillard ’20 is a proud dual-degree graduate of the University of Central Florida, having earned a BS in Health Sciences and a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2020 and is currently pursuing an MBA while working full-time. During her time at UCF, she was actively involved in the Burnett Honors College, served in SGA, and led group exercise programs at the Recreation and Wellness Center.

One of her favorite UCF memories is from freshman year, when she lived in the Apollo dorms.

“My roommates and I would get ice cream from ’63 South and sit by the Reflecting Pond late at night, catching up and admiring how peaceful it was there,” Guillard says. “Walking by there today feels like revisiting the origins of some of my closest friendships!”

With a career spanning project management, sales enablement, and strategic consulting, Guillard now specializes in designing impactful client experiences at Avanade. Beyond her professional work, she is passionate about community service and loves volunteering as a coach for Special Olympics Florida because she can empower athletes through several sports. She has been a donor since her graduation and looks forward to contributing to the UCF Alumni Board by strengthening alumni connections and supporting the next generation of Knights.

Michael Kryger ’97
College of Undergraduate Studies

Michael Kryger ’97 has extensive experience across the vast insurance industry. As president and owner of Pegasus Insurance Agency, Michael oversees all aspects of personal and commercial Lines of independent property and casualty insurance for Pegasus clients.

Prior to heading up Pegasus Insurance Agency, Kryger worked as an all- lines field adjuster for an auto insurance carrier investigating auto accidents. This involved settling property damage and bodily injury claims as well as being trained to write damage appraisals on automobiles. He also worked for a large local law firm as a case manager working with clients who sustained injuries and managed their claims from the plaintiff’s side of the fence. The role included pre-litigation negotiations and settlements with insurance adjusters/carriers.

Kryger earned his bachelor’s degreein Liberal Studies with a minor in sociology from UCF. Kryger is also proud father to Kelsey ’18, as well as his son Mick who is a senior at Seminole State College of Florida and works at Pegasus Insurance Agency as a customer service representative.

Kryger is passionate about elevating his UCF Alma Mater and his community, serving on UCF Alumni Chapter Board and in leadership roles for several professional and charitable agencies.

Atia Lindley ’00 ’02
College of Community Innovation and Education

Atia McCray Lindley ’00 ’02 currently serves as the director of the Student Financial Management Center at Georgia State University. Lindley leads seven teams across six locations. They provide instrumental support to students and families related to financial aid and student accounts. Lindley has over 20 years of experience in Higher Education.

Lindley earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration from the greatest University in the world: UCF. She also earned a master’s degree from Kaplan University (2013) and will soon be looking to pursue her doctorate degree in educational leadership.

Lindley has one daughter, Addison, and they both reside in Smyrna, GA. Addison plays soccer and hopes to be a UCF Knight someday.

My favorite memory has to be watching my daughter fall in love with UCF at such an early age,” Lindley says. “She is always rooting for my Knights and feels connected to the school. UCF helps me plant seeds for her future success. The love she has developed for my school has made me continue to love my beloved Alma Mater. GKCO!!!”

Scott Murray ’91
College of Sciences

Scott Murray ’91 has renewed his term as committee advisor after serving in the role last year. He graduated from UCF with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations. After working on Capitol Hill and in the military, Murray transitioned to the private sector in 1993 where he began a career in the pharmaceutical/biotech space.

Murray currently resides in metro Atlanta and remains very active with UCF through charitable giving, athletic support, and involvement with potential students and local alumni from the Georgia chapter.

Murray is a strong advocate for UCF and its plans for meaningful growth, focused education with emphasis on practical and real-world experience, and commitment to academic and social excellence that UCF embraces.

Academically, Murray has earned his doctoral degree since leaving UCF, from Georgia State University in 2022, where his dissertation focused on artificial intelligence in drug discovery. Beyond academics, Murray’s professional focus is making prescription medications more affordable and accessible to patients.

Murray is married to Andrea, and they have a house filled with rescue animals, love, and laughter. Andrea is a Colorado Buffalo who also works in the life science industry, and Murray is committed to not holding her lack of a UCF education against her.

Murray has too many wonderful memories from UCF to just choose one, but when pressed, says “Several of my closest friends came from my years at UCF and I have such immense appreciation for the warmth and comradery that I get from every alumnus I meet.”

Murray recalls having dinner with Dr. Bledsoe and state department officials he brought in to discuss real-world political events.

“I also have great memories of driving to the football stadium for UCF games, which was of course downtown in those days,” Murray says. “Overall, I have just been so thrilled to witness and help with the tremendous growth academically, in athletics, and in recognition that UCF is starting to realize!”

Rafael Padron ’09
College of Business Administration

Rafael “Rafa” Padrón ’09 is the founder of Charis Stewardship Partners, a consulting firm dedicated to guiding business owners in effective financial and operational management. With a background as a CPA, Padrón brings a wealth of expertise acquired through diverse experiences, including roles in government accounting, forensic accounting, and most recently as the CFO of Orchid Medical, a prominent workers’ compensation ancillary service provider based locally.

Padrón earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in hospitality management from UCF in 2009. He furthered his education by obtaining a master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2016.

In 2018, Padrón organized an impromptu gathering at a local Atlanta restaurant, uniting approximately 25 close friends and fellow UCF alumni to support the UCF Football team as they competed in the Peach Bowl, ultimately claiming the title of National Champions.

“This spontaneous event,” Padrón says, “Not only ignited our collective spirit but also reminded us of the incredible journey we’ve shared as alumni and fans. It underscored the growth and solidarity of our alumni community, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts.”

During his time at UCF, Padrón was actively engaged in campus life, serving in Student Government’s Senate, and leading as president of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity chapter. Currently residing in Winter Park with his two Goldendoodles, Padrón finds joy in supporting UCF student athletes at various sporting events and remains deeply connected to his alma mater.

Through his work at Charis Stewardship Partners and his commitment to community engagement, Padrón exemplifies a dedication to excellence, integrity, and service.

Remi Salter ’12
College of Sciences

New Alumni Board member Remi Salter ’12 currently serves as legal counsel for Red Bull. Salter has been in the legal industry for over eight years and with Red Bull since 2022. She currently leads brand enforcement matters across the Americas region, focusing on protecting the company’s vast intellectual property portfolio. Prior to Red Bull, Salter was an attorney at Steptoe & Johnson LLP with a broad complex commercial litigation practice.

Salter earned her bachelor’s in political science and a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in 2012 from the University of Central Florida. She went on to earn her JD with a specialty in International Law from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2017. Salter currently mentors students enrolled in UCF’s Legal Studies program, and in the past has served as a mentor to law students at UC Berkeley.

Salter is married to UCF alumnus Kevin Benik ’12 (thanks to Salter for poaching him from another university back in 2009), a senior manager for the Office of the CEO at Dropbox.

It’s impossible,” Salter says, “To narrow [my great UCF memories] down to just one, so it would be a three-way tie between: 1.) serving as a Burnett Honors College peer ambassador getting to welcome new students and share my enthusiasm for BHC with the incoming class, 2.) jumping into the UCF Reflecting Pond with my Alpha Delta Pi sorority sisters before graduation, and, 3.) more recently, getting to attend the last UCF vs. USF game in 2022 with my father, a die-hard Knights fan, after moving back to Florida from California, where UCF absolutely dominated!

Randi Torbert ’03
Rosen College of Hospitality Management

Randi Torbert ’03 serves as a senior director of workforce management at Marriott International, where she brings a wealth of expertise in workforce optimization and operational excellence. Leading process innovation, implementation, and sustainability across all managed Marriott hotels in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada, she leads a team that successfully delivers the tools and resources used daily for workforce management planning.

Torbert earned her bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of Central Florida Rosen College of Hospitality Management in 2003.

Randi is married to Brian Torbert ’00, a sales manager with Avanade, and they share two sons, Alex and Sean. Alex has been accepted to UCF and looks forward to continuing the UCF family tradition beginning Fall 2025.
