• College of Engineering and Computer Science Alumni Awards

We are pleased to now be accepting nominations for our 2020 class of Distinguished CECS Alumni!

Each year, the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science Distinguished Alumni Awards Program honors our alumni who have achieved exceptional personal and professional success in their respective areas of industry expertise that brings immense pride to their Alma Mater.

Our college was made possible through the bold determination and vision of our founders, who believed in the vast potential of establishing a university here in central Florida. With the groundwork in place and the right people to do the job, we were able to grow from a couple hundred students in 1968 to more than 11,500 students today.

From our first research grant – $12,500 from NASA – to more than $50 million in grants this year, our decades of discoveries are changing the world and improving lives.

We celebrate the best and the brightest from all six of our college departments, including our young alumni rising stars. We also recognize one individual for their exceptional achievements through the College Distinguished Alumnus Award, the highest college honor that can be bestowed upon our alumni.

Our goal in UCF’s College of Engineering and Computer Science is to continue reaching for the stars with all of our academic and industry partners to achieve big dreams and change the world. To our past, and future honorees - Thank you for inspiring us to Reach for the Stars.
