Parent Family Philanthropy Council Spotlight

UCF students and alumni would be nothing without the parents who get them here. As parents of Knights, you are invited and encouraged to get in the game yourself by joining our Parent and Family Philanthropy Council (PFPC).

This is a leadership board of parent volunteers who serve a one-year renewable term. Members enjoy developing a connection with the university and with each other. Many of our parent volunteers even choose to stay active on the committee after their children graduate!

The council aims to raise awareness, increase philanthropic support and become more involved with the university to enhance the UCF experience for all Knights.

Meet Annie O’Donnell

Annie O’Donnell, a University of Central Florida alumna with over nine years of experience working within the university, has held several roles during her tenure. Annie is currently part of the UCF Alumni Association’s College Relations team where she coordinates alumni engagement for the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing and Rosen School of Hospitality Management.

Prior to joining the College Relations team, she served as the director of executive operations for UCF Athletics, where Annie assisted with UCF Athletics’ strategic planning, fundraising, board relations and branding efforts while working alongside Vice President and Director of Athletics Todd Stansbury.

Annie assisted in creating a partnership with Junior Achievement and UCF Athletics as part of The Student Athlete Leadership Institute, which prepares student athletes for life after college athletics. As part of UCF Athletics’ community service initiatives, Annie and other administrators led a group of 14 student athletes to Panama on an international service-learning trip, where the group painted and did maintenance on an orphanage in the city of Cologne. Locally, she led Pack to Attack Hunger for Athletics in 2013, an event that partnered with Feeding Children Everywhere, a local nonprofit. She guided the UCF Student Government Association and UCF Greek Life to pack over 100,000 healthy meals for the local community.

Annie earned both her bachelor’s degree in business administration and her master’s degree in business administration from UCF.
