We’re back on campus – partnering with UCF Art Knight! hosted by the School of Visual Arts & Design.
No matter what you write – fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, etc – this is your opportunity to showcase your work, network with fellow authors, connect with the UCF community, and grow your audience.
Applications close Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026.
Expand Your Reach: you’ll be featured on our Knight Author website and socials leading up to the event.
Grow Your Audience: by meeting face-to-face with readers, you can sell your books and gain new followers.
Make Connections: meet and network with fellow Knight Authors.
Tour the Library: get an inside look at the newly renovated John C. Hitt Library.
Author Table: $35
Includes: 6-foot table with linen and 2 chairs, parking code for parking near the event location, lunch and tour of the John C. Hitt Library prior to event setup.
All applicants will be notified in early September regarding their application for the Book Nook.
Once notified, approved authors will have until Wednesday, Sept. 16 to register for the event and pay the $35 author fee.
Authors – if you are interested in being sponsored, please indicate that on your application form and we will do what we can to honor your preference.
Art Knight! is an annual open house with a festive atmosphere for the community to engage with UCF artists, experience student projects and tour the studio and classroom spaces in the Visual Arts Building.
Our Knight Author website is our collection of works by Knights – UCF alumni, faculty, and staff authors with their works across all literary genres.
You can submit your book for inclusion at any time.
