Lauryn (McGregor) Lanigan ’16 and Phillip Lanigan ’16

Phil and I met at UCF in 2012, both going to neighboring high schools in South Florida. Who would’ve thought we would meet 200 miles away in college. We friend-zoned each other for two years and then started dating in 2014. Little did we know we’d end up married in 2020 and bring our little Knight into the world in August 2023. We both share a love for UCF Football. We’ve been to countless games at the Bounce House and to at least five bowl games. Our daughter’s first game was this year’s Space Game. She loved it just as much as we did and stuck it out in the rain. Life would be very different if we did not have UCF in our love story.
