• Social Media Ambassadors

UCF Social Media Ambassadors are a group of volunteers who use their platform to advocate on behalf of UCF Advancement, the fundraising division for the University of Central Florida throughout the year on their personal social media profiles, or via email, phone calls or text messages. Basically this group of Knights is proud of UCF and they want people to know it!


Content primarily focuses on philanthropic initiatives (Giving Tuesday and UCF Day of Giving), but mostly encourages sharing UCF news and stories of your own personal experiences at UCF events (think: athletics, homecoming or anything else you'd be sporting black-and-gold attire at). For the special campaigns, we'll provide a toolkit so you're all set there.


All we ask of you is to...

  • Believe in the power of philanthropy to transform the lives of students at UCF
  • Celebrate philanthropy publicly and communicate with peers about giving
  • Invite alumni, parents and other friends to give to the programs at UCF that they're passionate about
  • Represent UCF with pride, and promote awareness of positive stories, exciting events, exclusive opportunities, time-sensitive announcements and more
  • Use social media platforms personally and comfortably (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)

Once you're in, you'll be responsible for...

  • Following UCF on social media
  • Engaging with the brand pages through likes, comments and shares/retweets
  • Joining the UCF Advancement Social Media Ambassador Facebook group
  • Providing support during special initiatives throughout the year
