CON Reunion
Each spring, join us for the biggest event our chapter hosts, the UCF Alumni All-class Nursing Reunion celebrating our Knight Nurses! This year, instead of our traditional reunion, we invite our alumni to join us for our 40th Anniversary Gala! The UCF College of Nursing is celebrating 40 years of educating Knight Nurses.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our 40th anniversary gala – the much-anticipated culmination of an academic year-long celebration – had to be rescheduled. The gala will now be held Saturday, May 15, 2021. In addition to commemorating 40 years of educating nurses, we will celebrate the 40th class reunion of the first cohort who began in fall 1979 and graduated in spring 1981.
Join fellow Knight nurses, friends and faculty to reconnect and recognize our collective achievements at this much-anticipated event. Toast to our past, to the trailblazers in our first cohort, to your successes, to the 40 Noble Knight Nurses who set a golden example, and to nursing’s bright future. Save the date and check back in early 2021 to register!
Continuing Education Dinners
Each fall and spring, the college hosts multiple continuing education dinners. Attendees earn one continuing nursing education unit (CNE) hour for their participation. Following the lecture, guests will hear an update on the college and learn how to stay connected to their alma mater. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all continuing education opportunities for fall 2020 will be hosted virtually.
Knight Nurses Alumni Mentorship Program
The UCF College of Nursing's Knight Nurse Alumni Mentorship Program pairs nursing alumni with BSN students in their senior year as well as Second Degree BSN students who are looking for guidance as they transition into their nursing careers. As a graduate from the college, you are one of our greatest assets! Your valuable experience and insight when shared with our current student body has a huge impact. We would greatly value your participation and hope that if you do choose to mentor a student, you enjoy an enriching experience while reconnecting with the college and refining your mentorship skills.
The Knight Nurse Alumni Mentorship Program runs from September-April. The deadline to apply to be a Knight Nurse Mentor for the 2020-2021 academic year, is Friday, August 28.

We owe our successes in large part to the generous contributions of the alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations who have supported our efforts. At the College of Nursing, every gift has an impact that extends beyond the campus into our communities, and every gift is deeply appreciated. We thank those who have invested in the college and inspired our students and faculty to pursue their academic and professional dreams.
