CON Reunion

Each spring, join us for the biggest event our chapter hosts, the UCF Alumni All-class Nursing Reunion celebrating our Knight Nurses! This year, instead of our traditional reunion, we invite our alumni to join us for our 40th Anniversary Gala! The UCF College of Nursing is celebrating 40 years of educating Knight Nurses. Since 1979, UCF has been leading the charge in educating the next generation of nurses for community and beyond. We will be culminating our year-long celebration with a special evening at the Rosen Shingle Creek resort located in Orlando on the evening of Saturday, May 16, 2020. Make a weekend out of it by joining us for an evening connecting with your former classmates, professors, local health professionals and community leaders. Save the date and check back soon for additional details and to register!

As part of the , the college will honor 40 alumni through our Noble Knight Nurse Awards program. Applicants and recipients of these awards exemplify remarkable work in the field of nursing. Nominations open in September and will be accepted through Friday, November 15.

Continuing Education Dinners

Each fall and spring, the college hosts multiple continuing education dinners. Attendees earn one continuing nursing education unit (CNE) hour for their participation. Following the lecture, guests will hear an update on the college and learn how to stay connected to their alma mater.

Knight Nurses Alumni Mentorship Program

The UCF College of Nursing's Knight Nurses Alumni Mentorship Program pairs nursing alumni with BSN students in their senior year as well as Second Degree BSN students who are looking for guidance as they transition into their nursing careers. As a graduate from the college, you are one of our greatest assets! Your valuable experience and insight when shared with our current student body has a huge impact. We would greatly value your participation and hope that if you do choose to mentor a student, you enjoy an enriching experience while reconnecting with the college and refining your mentorship skills.

The Knight Nurse Alumni Mentorship Program runs from September-April. Applications for the 2020-21 year will open in July 2020.

View the Knight Nursing Alumni Mentorship Program Manual 2019-2020 for more information.

We owe our successes in large part to the generous contributions of the alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations who have supported our efforts. At the College of Nursing, every gift has an impact that extends beyond the campus into our communities, and every gift is deeply appreciated. We thank those who have invested in the college and inspired our students and faculty to pursue their academic and professional dreams.
