UCF Alumni Professional Engagement provides robust programming and limited 1:1 career services and to extend our reach, we have teamed up with Knights around the nation to assist with their fellow alumni needs. They are ready to assist with individuals who are in need of career, executive, leadership and other coaching that delves more in-depth or focuses on specific areas or industries. Alumni Career Coaches can help discern what career path will lead to success, provide a framework and support for career goals, or assist in honing specific skills.
UCF Alumni has career coaches and counselors who are a part of the UCF Alumni Career Coach Referral Program. They are an essential part of UCF Alumni Professional Engagement, offering special rates and career and professional development services for fellow Knights.

Symone Deserae Barnes ’13, a native of South Florida currently residing in Orlando, is the Director of Product Support in the Information Technology department of a congressionally funded non-profit. She is also an International Coaching Federation (ICF) coach in training, and proud business owner of SymoneSays Coaching, specializing in executive coaching with an interest in intersectionally diverse professionals who want to bring their whole selves to the forefront of their lives, personally and professionally. Crisy Brutus ’09 is the founder of WISE Consultants LLC, a coaching firm that offers professional coaching and business incorporation services. She specializes in career, health, business, and life coaching. Crisy is a UCF graduate, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2009. She also graduated from Columbia Southern University in 2016 and obtained an MBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management. With an extensive career spanning almost two decades in Human Resources, including nine years of owning a business, Dawn Sipley ’04 comprehends the unique challenges of entrepreneurship. Her professional journey began upon earning her business degree from the University of Central Florida in 2004. Since then, she has been a vital support to hundreds of companies in Central Florida, serving a wide array of their HR and Recruitment needs, most recently as President of Sipley The Best, an HR Consulting firm specializing in recruitment training and support.
Dawn is a 3rd generation Central Florida who continues to serve her community through philanthropy and public speaking. She serves the Central Florida Christian Chamber of Commerce as the Chairwoman of their Ambassadors and sits on the board of directors of Act to Act, and partners closely with Angels of Mercy where she enters our local jails, teaching women about employability. While on stage Dawn often educates other leaders on parentification and the impacts that childhood abuse and neglect have on the workforce, which is the subject of the book she is currently writing.

Jessica Villegas ’13 of Winter Garden, Florida, is the founder of Hi-Lite Coaching and Consulting, specializing in youth coaching and leadership development.
